Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Leonor Language School's online learning platform at leonorlanguageschool.com (the "Platform") and the classes we provide. By creating an account or taking classes, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

• Accounts are created by the school. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give us accurate contact details and time zone so your classes are scheduled correctly.
• Students under 18 need the permission of a parent or guardian.

2. Classes and course packages

• Classes are live, one-on-one online lessons with a teacher, taught from packages of class hours.
• When you enroll in a course package, you commit to the full package, including when you pay for it in installments.
• Class hours are deducted from your package as classes are taught.
• Self-study materials, quizzes and other extras support your course but are not a substitute for the live classes.

3. Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows

• To cancel or reschedule a class without being charged, let your teacher know in advance, within the notice period your teacher or the school gives you.
• A late cancellation or a missed class (no-show) may be charged as a class taught and deducted from your hours.
• If your teacher has to cancel, the class will be rescheduled and no hours will be deducted.

4. Payments and refunds

• Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by PayPal.
• Class hours are linked to your account and cannot be transferred to another person without the school's agreement.
• All sales are final. No refunds are issued after purchase. This applies to every purchase: class hours and course packages, the OET initial assessment, OET Self-Study access, teacher marking credits and speaking mocks.
• Unused class hours, marking credits or self-study days cannot be exchanged for money. If a teacher cancels a class, the class is rescheduled and no hours are deducted (see section 3).
• OET Self-Study gives access for the number of days shown at purchase, starting on the day you pay. Access ends automatically at the end of that period; it does not renew unless you buy more time.
• Before you buy, you can try the free OET sample and contact us with any questions. If you are charged twice for the same purchase, or are charged and do not receive what you paid for, contact us and we will correct it.

5. Acceptable use

Please be respectful to teachers and other users. Do not:

• record classes, or share class materials outside the school, without permission;
• share your account with others;
• upload anything unlawful, offensive or that you do not have the right to share;
• try to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the Platform.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.

6. Teachers using Google Calendar

Teachers may connect their Google Calendar so their classes are added automatically. This is optional and can be disconnected at any time. How we handle that data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Course materials

Lessons, worksheets, recordings, tests and other materials on the Platform belong to Leonor Language School or its licensors. They are for your personal learning only.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Platform available and working well, but we cannot guarantee it will always be free of interruptions or errors. If a technical problem on our side stops a class, we will reschedule it without deducting hours.

9. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Leonor Language School is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for classes in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and tell you by email about significant changes. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the new terms.
